i guess i should ask a question to create a legitimate topic for discussion, huh? hmmmm.....


since i am an aspiring baker, it would be useful to know people's favorite baked goods for future reference. :) so what do u guys like?
my favorite is chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.... its a classic. the more chocolate, the better. ^^

Odd enough I have a huge sweet tooth so I don't know ware to begin.
Anything with chocolate is gut though aha XD you really can't go wrong with chocolate...or peanut butter....or red velvet <_<

on the subject of baking, i really like it, so dont be afraid to give me a challenge!! just tell me what you want and ill find a recipe (if i ever need it).

I don't think its a problem...but I just got created into a mod aha so really Ivan and Caryn are the ones that will tell you ^_^

more useful info: if anyone ever has an occasion that isnt too far away that they need a baked good for, this is a good place to put in an order. i dont charge. :3

Aspiring Baker, hm~? I could give you my recipe for red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. I've also got a recipe for decorating frosting.

As you may already know, I'm a culinary student. :3 And I want to have my own bakery.

It would appear that we have a lot of bakers and cooks in this group...
I prefer to eat, than to cook or bake.

I agree with you, the more chocolate the better. Because chocolate is amazing and I am female.

Do you happen to also like baking cheesecake? Because my mom has some great recipes for it and I'm sure she wouldn't mind sharing. :)

I love any kind of sweet, but sadly I am allergic to every kind of nut out there... >.< So I don't have the satisfaction of peanut butter cups of anything else with nuts in them.... Same with blueberries.

im gunna take a class at USM soon for baking, i think. :) i seem to have a talent for decorating, but its a loooong way from professional. i can draw ponies with frosting tho!!

i dont mind receiving recipes.

i havent made cheesecake yet, cuz im not particularly fond of it, but my mom makes great cheesecake, so im sure she'd love to help me. again, of course u can give me recipes. ^^

And as far as cheesecake goes, I love cheesecake. @.@ I made a double-layer pumpkin cheesecake for thanksgiving and it was supurb.

I do like to cook as well, but i'm not very good... the best thing I know how to make is chicken pillows. Those are delicious~ I have the recipie saved on my facebook account for all to see.

i can cook a little too. some day we should all have a big food..... thing... where everyone makes their favorite recipes. :3
aside from baking, im ok. i can make some simpler things, like i make delicious pork ramen! once i even made cheeseburger ramen (tomatoes and all) and it worked! i keep making milk explode tho.......... ^^;

I love red velvet cake especially as a whoopie pie or as cupcakes. biscuits with jelly's and jams are good i guess what i am saying is all baked goods are awesome :)
